Acceptable Abstract Content
Educational content for our Annual National Leadership Conference and our Webinar Series typically focuses on the addiction treatment provider operational Core Competencies established by the NAATP Quality Assurance Initiative. These eight competencies are:
- Admissions & Patient Screening
- Employment, Training & Credentialing
- Discharge & Continuing Care
- Outcomes Measures
- Community Engagement, Public Relations & Public Policy
- Marketing, Advertising & Visibility
We encourage outside submissions from industry professionals that fit within one or more of these competencies. Please review the detailed list of Quality Assurance Core Competencies and the corresponding guidelines before submitting your abstract.
Guidelines for Submission
Complete the below application to submit an abstract for NAATP National or NAATP Webinar Series. The online application will direct you to include a presentation narrative, learning objectives, your biography and credentials, and all contact information. You will have the option to upload supporting documents and a photo. If applicable, co-presenter information is also requested. Please be advised that once your abstract has been submitted, you will be unable to return to it to make changes.
Conference sessions and webinar presentations are chosen by Committee and NAATP Staff, respectively. Abstracts are evaluated by relevance, interest, quality of information, and qualifications of presenters. NAATP does not use a “pay to play” model, and exhibitor and sponsorship fees are not considered in the abstract selection process.
There is no deadline for submission as NAATP is now accepting abstracts on a rolling basis. Due to the volume of submissions, please note that there is no set timeline for review or response. NAATP Staff will reach out to you directly if we see a presentation opportunity related to your submission.
