Cumberland Heights Breaks Ground on New Facility

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE - Our nation is facing an addiction crisis and now Cumberland Heights, a nationally recognized alcohol and drug treatment center in Middle Tennessee, broke ground on its new Men’s Residential and Therapeutic Facility.

It will be located at River Road Campus at 8283 River Road.

This state-of-the-art facility will contain 20 patient rooms and accommodate up to 40 patients, increasing the dedicated men’s residential space by 33%.

Each patient will have a private bathroom and access to common spaces, lounge areas, group and individual therapy rooms, and exercise space designed to encourage well-being and living in community.

“Our patients are somebody’s family members,” said Jay Crosson, the CEO of Cumberland Heights. “They’re our fathers, our mothers, our sisters, our brothers, our children and so they deserve a living space that provides them with dignity and respect and creates the container where recovery can take root.”

The plan is to open the new facility some time in 2025.
