Main Areas of Responsibility:
Develop treatment and continuing care plans, document discharge summaries and various progress notes
Provide direct individual, group and family therapy, didactic lectures and experiential group processes
Active engagement in a multidisciplinary team
Caseload not to exceed 8 clients
Other Information/Requirements:
Master's degree in a counseling related field
Licensure and/or addiction counselor certification from a recognized certification board
Minimum of 5 years of direct counseling experience in an addiction treatment environment; minimum 2 years in a residential treatment setting. At least 5 years of continuous sobriety if in recovery
Specialty in Trauma, PTSD, CBT, DBT, EMDR and/or Dual Diagnosis with certification highly desired
Proficiency in use of electronic medical records
Bilingual capabilities (preferably Spanish) an asset
