About This Organization:

Sierra at Scottsdale Outpatient Care offers high-quality treatment for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and co-occurring addictions. At our location in Scottsdale, Arizona, we provide a safe and nonjudgmental space where you can focus on your growth and healing free of distractions. You can learn alongside others who understand the challenges you’re facing, enjoying the benefits of a supportive community while receiving personalized care. Sierra at Scottsdale’s partial hospitalization program (PHP) meets Monday through Friday for approximately five hours, and the average length of stay is two to three weeks. Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) offers a half-day program Monday through Thursday. The typical length of stay in IOP is four to six weeks. However, the actual length of stay in each of our programs is determined based on ongoing evaluations of your unique needs and treatment progress. In group therapy, you may receive cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and motivational interviewing. Groups may discuss topics such as behavioral activation, distress tolerance, emotion regulation and healthy body image. Sierra at Scottsdale also offers individual therapy sessions so that you have a safe space to speak one-on-one with a counselor about your treatment progress. In family therapy sessions, you can begin to rebuild trust and practice healthy communication with members of your personal support system. We also provide trauma-informed yoga classes, where movement can help you regulate your emotions and fully experience the mind-body connection.

Mission Statement:
