Serenity Knolls Treatment Center is a highly respected 12-Step residential drug and alcohol treatment center for adults age 18 and older. At our private facility in scenic Forest Knolls, California, our caring and compassionate team of professionals can help you address addictions to substances such as cocaine, heroin, marijuana, methamphetamine, opioids, phencyclidine (PCP), and prescription painkillers. We can also treat co-occurring mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related disorders. Our detox program provides a safe space for patients to begin the process of withdrawal. We recognize how difficult it can be to handle the uncomfortable symptoms of withdrawal from drugs or alcohol, and our medical staff is ready to provide support as you work to build a life in recovery. During your time in our residential treatment program, your individualized treatment plan might include individual, group, and family therapies as needed. Off-site therapies can include equine therapy, service opportunities, and weekly 12-Step meetings. Additionally, all residents who participate in Serenity Knolls programming may take part in our Weekend Family Program, which includes events and education for patients, family, and friends on a variety of recovery-related topics, including codependency, denial, and communication. After completing residential treatment at Serenity Knolls, clients may continue their recovery journeys in our Foundation Program, an extended care service offering process, educational, and gender-specific groups in addition to individual counseling. Patients in the Foundation Program may also attend couples and family counseling sessions and participate in our Weekend Family Program. Individuals who qualify for an extended length of stay might also continue recovery in our Enrichment Launch Program, which follows their completion of the Foundation Program.
