At Mirror Lake Recovery Center in Burns, Tennessee, we offer evidence-based treatment for adults age 18 and older who are experiencing symptoms of substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our four-phase approach to treatment incorporates a continuum of care that promotes independence and fosters the smoothest transition possible to a healthy, satisfying life after treatment. During Phase 1, people who are in need of detox services can work with our medical professionals as they go through the withdrawal process. Phase 2 includes residential treatment for clients who are struggling with addictions or mental health concerns. In Phase 3, clients who may benefit from outpatient treatment can receive care in our partial hospitalization program (PHP), which is available seven days a week. Throughout each phase, clients may participate in treatments like individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, experiential therapies, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). We are pleased to offer several unique types of programming, including Christian- and veteran-specific treatment options. If having a spiritual component in your treatment is of high priority, our non-denominational faith-based treatment track might be right for you. This specialized treatment may include daily journaling, Bible study, meditation, meetings with chaplains, and Celebrate Recovery sessions. Our SMART Recovery Program is specifically designed for adults who are battling addictions. SMART recovery focuses on building and maintaining motivation, learning healthier ways to cope with cravings and triggers, managing negative thoughts and feelings, and living a balanced life. Though aftercare is Phase 4 of treatment, planning for it begins at the time of admission. Consistent with our individualized approach, aftercare plans are tailored to each client’s specific needs. Additionally, clients may choose to join our alumni association after treatment. Our Alumni Program provides a community and support system for clients as they continue on their journey to healing. Whether connecting with friends and staff members through AA meetings, social dinners, or spending time together around a campfire, there is always a safe place to belong at Mirror Lake Recovery Center.
