Bayside Marin Treatment Center, located in downtown San Rafael, California, is a premier alcohol and drug addiction treatment center in the San Francisco Bay area. We cater to adults age 18 and older who are seeking the privacy and exclusivity of our unique facility. We offer residential and outpatient rehab programs and specialize in providing treatment for veterans, first responders, licensed professionals, and the LGBTQIA+ population. At Bayside Marin Treatment Center, we want to help clients determine what lies at the root of addiction so that they can learn to successfully practice the skills that lead to lasting recovery. Our residential facility accepts up to 30 guests, including those seeking dual diagnosis treatment. Clients may engage in individual psychotherapy, where our team uses evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed therapies. Our qualified and compassionate professionals also lead group and family therapy sessions as well as offer nutritional counseling, educational classes, and experiential therapies, including art, music, meditation, yoga, tai chi, Qigong, Pilates, acupuncture, and therapeutic massage. Participating in our intensive outpatient program (IOP) allows clients to maintain a job and financial stability while receiving ongoing treatment. It is appropriate for adults in the early stages of addiction recovery, people who have a strong support network, or those who are transitioning out of residential or partial hospitalization programs. Clients can attend the program three or four days per week, either in the morning or evening. Like clients in our residential program, those attending outpatient treatment may participate in the effective therapies mentioned above. They will also have access to our gym, pool, sauna, and steam room, as well as have the opportunity to attend self-help support groups, many of which are offered on-site. We invite clients to continue their recovery journey in our aftercare program, which is comprised of support groups, lectures, quarterly two-day “Recovery and Renewal” programs, and social events planned by alumni.
