Bradford Recovery Center Accredited

Bradford Recovery Center is a leading provider of comprehensive treatment for addiction and certain co-occurring mental health concerns. Our center is remotely located in the peaceful mountains of Millerton, Pennsylvania, about a two-hour drive from Wilkes-Barre and just 15 miles south of the New York border. We welcome adults age 18 and older to our safe and comfortable treatment center in the New England countryside. At Bradford Recovery Center, we believe in treating not just symptoms but the whole person. Our caring and compassionate staff members work with each person to create an individualized treatment plan that focuses on the body, mind, and spirit. If you are struggling with an addiction to substances such as alcohol, opioids, cocaine, or prescription drugs, you might begin your stay by receiving detoxification services. Detox typically lasts between three and five days, but your unique needs will determine your length of stay. We also offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to support you in the withdrawal process and to help you as you continue through the treatment process. Our residential addiction treatment program includes basic medical care in addition to medication management services for those who might require them. In addition to providing addiction treatment, we also serve people who are experiencing symptoms of co-occurring mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). We offer individual therapy sessions where you can confidentially process your concerns. In group therapy, you can connect with peers who may understand your experiences and discuss topics such as relapse prevention and seeking safety. We also invite residents to interact with staff and each other in experiential therapy opportunities like volleyball and kickball. Bradford Recovery Center offers a partial hospitalization program (PHP) for individuals who need structured services without round-the-clock care. Our PHP meets seven days per week, and it may include family therapy sessions and participation in off-campus 12-Step support groups.
Our mission is to provide quality, individualized, evidence-based treatment to those who suffer from the disease of addiction, and to provide that treatment in an environment that is physically, mentally, and spiritually enriching.
