Wellness Resource Center is a premier provider of treatment for addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions. Adults can receive comprehensive, individualized care that addresses their unique needs at our peaceful location in Boca Raton, Florida, which is minutes from the ocean. We treat addictions to substances such as opioids, methamphetamine, alcohol, and cocaine, as well as co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, and schizophrenia. Our abstinence-based approach to recovery includes a supportive atmosphere of dignity and respect. Phase I treatment at Wellness Resource Center includes a partial hospitalization program (PHP), with round-the-clock supervision seven days a week. Phase II is a step-down, intensive outpatient program (IOP). This phase allows patients to attend part-time treatment while continuing to live on-site. When you’re ready for a transitional living environment, Phase III offers a support system with more flexibility. Our expert staff includes a psychiatrist, psychologist, master’s-level therapists, certified addiction therapists, a nutritionist, and other professionals who collaborate on effective treatment plans for each patient. You may engage in individual, group, and family therapy sessions that incorporate concepts of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). We also offer smaller process groups separated by age, gender, or treatment focus. Our goal is to help you improve your communication skills, gain self-awareness, and discover emotional clarity so that you can confidently face challenges and feel better about your strength and resilience. At Wellness Resource Center, we use the evidence-based principles of equine-assisted psychotherapy (EAP). These principles can be especially helpful when working through feelings of grief and loss, repressed trauma, or chronic emotional distress. We also incorporate experiential therapy methods such as role-playing, guided imagery, a labyrinth, and other movement-based exercises. These interventions can foster the ability to calmly and strategically examine and work through obstacles in recovery. Our therapeutic techniques offer patients the tools they need to continue pursuing recovery even after leaving our center.
