About This Organization:

Gaudenzia's Claymont Center for Pregnant & Parenting Women, Delaware's only inpatient treatment facility for pregnant & parenting women, offers an empowering environment with evidence-based treatment programs that lay the foundation for recovery and assist in the development of effective coping strategies and parenting skills. Our Claymont Center offers a continuum of treatment that includes high-intensity and low-intensity residential programs, where women can bring up to two children with them while receiving services.

Mission Statement:

Gaudenzia helps individuals and families affected by drug and alcohol dependency, mental illness, and related conditions to achieve a better quality of life and become accountable individuals.

This is accomplished through a continuum of care leading to long-term recovery guided by a philosophy of mutual concern, personal responsibility, research, and community education.
