Delta Specialty Hospital, a preferred provider of inpatient and outpatient behavioral health treatment in Memphis, Tennessee, offers mental health and addiction treatment programs for adults age 18 and older. Following a comprehensive assessment, our supportive professionals create personalized treatment plans so that we can best tailor our patients’ care to meet their specific needs. Patients who are struggling with symptoms of mental health disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), can benefit from the evidence-based therapies delivered in our inpatient program. The typical length of stay ranges from seven to 12 days, but the amount of time a person spends in our inpatient treatment center will be determined based on their needs and the progress they make during treatment. We provide round-the-clock care for all our patients and offer individual, group, and family therapies, depending on each person’s treatment plan. We also provide medication management services to those who take medication during their stay. Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) and intensive outpatient program (IOP) provide a lower level of care than inpatient treatment, giving patients the flexibility to attend programming for several hours during the day and return home at night. The individual, group, and family therapies provided in our PHP and IOP can assist patients in developing coping skills and practicing positive communication, which can benefit them long after their time in treatment has come to an end. Patients who are struggling with addictions in addition to experiencing symptoms of mental health concerns can take advantage of Delta’s dual diagnosis program. Rather than looking at symptoms individually, our specially trained staff addresses the whole person, taking into consideration the interactions between multiple symptoms. Our goal is to help patients develop strategies to prevent relapse as they learn healthy ways to manage their symptoms and behaviors. Additionally, Delta Specialty Hospital offers a specialized program for senior adults age 55 and older who are struggling with symptoms of mental health disorders or concerns related to memory or disorientation. We also offer a unique trauma recovery program to support patients who are suffering from the effects of abuse, assault, bullying, natural disasters, the unexpected loss of a loved one, military combat, and abandonment. All of our programs are staffed by highly trained psychiatrists, medical doctors, registered nurses, licensed social workers, and licensed professional counselors, among others.
