Cumming Comprehensive Treatment Center Accredited

"Located in Cumming, Georgia, less than an hour south of Atlanta, Cumming Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) provides outpatient opioid addiction treatment services for adults age 18 and older. People of all backgrounds turn to our center for help finding recovery from addictions to prescription painkillers, heroin, and other opioids.
Our approach involves using medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which combines medication and counseling to address opioid addiction on a whole-person level. Depending on a patient’s specific circumstances, they may receive a prescription for methadone or buprenorphine. These medications are FDA-approved for the treatment of opioid addiction. When patients take them as part of a MAT program, these medications can ease cravings for opioids and alleviate painful withdrawal symptoms.
Because medication only addresses the physical aspects of opioid addictions, patients also take part in counseling during their time at Cumming CTC. Counseling sessions can provide a chance for patients to get to the root of their struggles with an opioid addiction. Patients can also identify and change any harmful behaviors or thought patterns that may be keeping them from achieving recovery. Everyone responds to therapy differently, so we offer group and individual counseling to meet a variety of needs.
We know that there is no single path to recovery. For this reason, our patients receive treatment plans that are personalized to reflect their unique needs and goals. The experts at Cumming CTC are committed to helping every patient achieve lasting recovery. "
