Grays Harbor Comprehensive Treatment Center Accredited
Grays Harbor Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) in Aberdeen, Washington, offers outpatient treatment for adults age 18 and older of all genders who are struggling with opioid use disorder. Our facility provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which incorporates the use of prescription medication and therapy. MAT is endorsed by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). Adults who participate in MAT at our CTC may receive a prescription for methadone, buprenorphine, or Suboxone. These medications can alleviate withdrawal symptoms and opioid cravings so that patients can end their opioid use and actively engage in the counseling component of MAT. At our facility, we believe that both individual and group therapy play a crucial role in treating opioid addiction. In individual sessions, patients can explore the personal circumstances and experiences that may have contributed to their struggles with addiction. They can also develop tools to prevent future relapse. In group therapy, patients can share their stories and gain support from others who are going through similar challenges. Together, they can learn about effective coping strategies and develop a sense of community and belonging. At Grays Harbor CTC, we understand that every recovery journey is unique. We offer individualized treatment plans that are tailored to meet each person’s specific needs. When someone comes to us for help with opioid addiction, we work closely with them to develop a plan for lasting sobriety. We believe that treatment should be collaborative, so our patients are always involved in decisions about their care. This way, they can take an active role in their healing and recovery. Our goal is to help our patients achieve sustained success, and we are committed to walking alongside them every step of the way.
