Canton Comprehensive Treatment Center Accredited
Canton Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Massillon, Ohio, is a leading provider of opioid addiction treatment for adults age 18 and older. We offer outpatient treatment using an evidence-based therapy known as medication-assisted treatment (MAT). This treatment, recommended by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), combines traditional medical interventions with individual and group counseling services. Patients receive holistic treatment that addresses their mind, body, and emotions, giving them well-rounded support as they pursue their recovery goals. The expert medical team at Canton CTC offers several FDA-approved medications to assist patients with the uncomfortable cravings and sometimes painful symptoms that can accompany withdrawal. Methadone blocks the effects of opioid drugs in your system. Suboxone supports withdrawal and can also be a longer-term medication option. We also offer buprenorphine and naltrexone. We work closely with each patient to determine which medication and dosage are best for their unique circumstances. Our experienced counselors work alongside our doctors to provide opportunities for patients to process their thoughts and feelings as they learn more about addiction. Individual counseling sessions are confidential, safe spaces where patients can ask questions and explore the decisions that may have led to their struggles with substance abuse. In group counseling, patients can share their experiences with others in the program, giving and receiving encouragement that can have a lasting effect on their recovery. At Canton CTC, we are committed to listening to and learning from each patient to create an individualized plan of care. We understand that each person’s experiences are different, and our goal is to provide customized and comprehensive treatment that leads to a healthier, happier, more productive life.
