Carolina House Eating Disorder Treatment Center Accredited
Carolina House Eating Disorder Treatment Center is a leading residential and outpatient treatment center that serves individuals age 17 and older who are experiencing symptoms of eating disorders and other co-occurring mental health concerns. We are proud to provide a safe and welcoming space for our clients, offering LGBTQ-specific programming as well as gender-specific programming for males and females. We offer care at three separate locations, including one in Raleigh and two in Durham, North Carolina. At our eating disorder treatment center, there are three levels of care available where clients can receive treatment for disorders such as anorexia, bulimia, and binge-eating disorder. Our residential program is led by a skilled and caring team of doctors, nurses, licensed therapists, and registered dietitians, along with a professional culinary team, art and body movement therapists, and a mindfulness instructor. Clients may participate in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), insight-oriented therapies, or motivational interviewing. Our goal is to care for our clients holistically, engaging their bodies, minds, and spirits in their recovery processes. In our partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, we offer individual, group, and family therapies as well as weekly experiential therapies that may include yoga, participating in a culinary group, or going on outings to restaurants. Other groups provide education in spirituality, body image and movement, media awareness, nutrition, and relapse prevention. To help individuals achieve their goals during their stay with us and even after they transition back to their daily lives outside of treatment, we provide free weekly support groups for family members and alumni.
Montecatini’s mission is one of hope and long-term recovery. We believe treatment is a collaborative process and consider the patient an essential part of the treatment team. Our goal is to help our patients return to lives that are not only functional but joyful as well.
