Green Bay Comprehensive Treatment Center Accredited

Located in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Green Bay Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is a leading provider of outpatient treatment for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with addictions to opioids like prescription painkillers and heroin. Our expert team offers compassionate care that can help people begin their recovery journeys and discover a life free from addiction. At our treatment center, patients receive medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which is a form of opioid addiction treatment that combines talk therapy with the use of certain prescription medications. Organizations like the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) highly recommend MAT, as decades of research supports its effectiveness in treating opioid addiction. Many methadone clinics are only able to prescribe methadone, while we are able to prescribe multiple medications, which allows us to better serve a greater number of people. Patients at our treatment center can receive prescriptions for Suboxone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone in addition to methadone. The specific medication that each person takes is based on their individual needs and is determined after they complete a thorough assessment prior to starting treatment. All medications used in MAT are FDA-approved and work to alleviate the symptoms of withdrawal and prevent ongoing cravings. To ensure that our patients receive the full scope of MAT services, we offer group counseling and individual counseling. Group counseling gives patients a chance to meet with other individuals who may be experiencing similar challenges, offering them support and encouragement as they work toward recovery. Individual counseling provides patients with an opportunity to meet one-on-one with a team member in a confidential setting. In both types of sessions, patients can discuss their experiences, setbacks, and successes, while also learning and practicing coping mechanisms that can help prevent future relapse.
