Cedar Crest Hospital & Residential Treatment Center Accredited
Located on 33 acres in the rolling hills of central Texas, Cedar Crest Hospital and Residential Treatment Center exists to support children, teens, and adults who have mental health disorders or are struggling with addictions. At our private campus in Belton, Texas, patients can take advantage of walking trails, picnic areas, an outdoor swimming pool, and a full-size gym with state-of-the-art equipment as they begin their healing process. Our multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, therapists, and psychiatrists work together to create individualized treatment plans that are designed to meet the specific needs of each patient. We offer a full continuum of care with programs that are tailored to different age groups. For children ages 5-12, we offer an inpatient program, partial hospitalization program (PHP), and intensive outpatient program (IOP). Our IOP takes place during the day on Monday through Friday, and patients have the opportunity to attend classes about recovery and mental health before returning home in the evening. In all of our programs, patients may also participate in group and family therapy sessions, life skills groups, and therapeutic recreation. Our programs for adolescents and teens ages 12-17 are similar to those we offer for children, with the addition of a specialized residential program. In addition to treating adolescents who are suffering from symptoms of the mental health disorders mentioned above, our skilled multidisciplinary team of professionals is also prepared to support teens who are struggling with self-injury, hallucinations, and suicidal thoughts and behaviors. For adults age 18 and older, Cedar Crest Hospital and Residential Treatment Center offers The Legacy Program, specially designed around the 12-Step addiction recovery process to treat adults who are battling substance use disorders. This is available to those participating in inpatient treatment, PHP, and IOP. Regardless of a patient’s age or the challenges they are facing, our goal is to give them the education, tools, and medical care required to achieve true wellness.
Our Mission is to set ourselves apart from other mental health facilities by offering individualized, superior care that improves the quality of life for our patients and provides a reliable resource for the community.
