Bio-Psycho-Social refers to an approach which takes into consideration biologic, psychological, social and often spiritual considerations in the treatment of a condition. Instead of focusing exclusively on the biomedical aspects of a disease, this approach also looks at the complex interaction of Biopsychosocial influences, and attributes complex symptoms or presenting factors to multiple causes.
