Addiction Treatment Provider Ethics

Share this on:

Addiction treatment providers, as with other providers of health care, must be accountable for the services they provide. NAATP members subscribe to high ethical practices.

Our Values Guide Our Standards

NAATP believes in a common sense approach to balancing addiction provider’s mission with their profit margin in the ever-evolving landscape of addiction treatment. To this end, we have developed a set of four guiding principles for our Code of Ethics based on our Values Statement

Guiding Principles

  1. Our Code of Ethics must be a common sense document that is evolving and dynamic.
  2. The ethics conversation is a process, not an event.
  3. Our Code of Ethics must create a forum for discussion and debate.
  4. NAATP is a membership organization, not an accrediting agency.
