By-Laws Amendments to Define Board Term Limits
By-Laws Section 5.4 regarding term limits and officer position term tolling.
As Provider Members of NAATP in good standing, your organization is entitled to vote on these measures, and we encourage you to support them.
By-Law Section 5.4 Before Amendment:
Directors shall be elected for three-year (3-year) year terms. Supporter Members elected to the Board may serve a maximum of two consecutive terms (6 years). A Supporter Member may be re-elected to the Board after remaining off the Board for one (1) term. Commencing in 2003, the terms of Directors shall be staggered by dividing the total number of Directors into groups of one or more Directors. The terms of office of the several groups and the number of Directors in each group need not be uniform. Each Director, including a Director elected to fill a vacancy, shall hold office until the expiration of the term for which elected and until a successor has been elected and qualified. Any Bylaw provision amending or repealing this Section or Section 5.2 may only be adopted by approval of the Members.
By-Law Section 5.4 as Amended:

Officer positions are limited to Provider Members and the term limit is tolled while a Provider Member serves as an Officer. The foregoing terms limit provision are effective January 1, 2023. The terms of Directors shall be staggered by dividing the total number of Directors into groups of one or more Directors. The terms of office of the several groups and the number of Directors in each group need not be uniform. Each Director, including a Director elected to fill a vacancy, shall hold office until the expiration of the term for which elected and until a successor has been elected and qualified. Any Bylaw provision amending or repealing this Section or Section 5.2 may only be adopted by approval of the Members.
