Please contact us if you are interested in joining the newly announced NAATP State Public Policy Advisory Group, a collective of NAATP Member representatives engaging in policy development and advocacy at the state level.
The National Association recognizes the importance of assisting with state level initiatives. As an initial step toward supporting local efforts, we are launching the NAATP State Public Policy Advisory Group. The group will be comprised of policy advisors and advocates from member facilities with the goal of creating an environment for information sharing. The group will also support local policy goals, and advise The National Association of important work being done at the state and local level.
As we develop this group, we invite you to identify staff within your organization who are involved in policy development and advocacy, and who would be interested in taking part in periodic State Public Policy Advisory Group calls. In addition to member advisors, the group will include NAATP National Policy Director Mark Dunn, Public Policy Chair Scott Munson, Executive Director Marvin Ventrell, and Membership Manager Peter Thomas.
