About This Organization:

Amend Treatment offers multiple therapeutic treatment approaches in order to comprehensively address the behavioral, social, and emotional difficulties that are experienced as a result of acute and chronic mental and behavioral health difficulties.
Our program offers an alternative to inpatient hospitalizations by providing adults, of all ages and genders, with personalized, attentive, and intensive residential care. Therapeutic services include assessment, strength-based treatment planning, and licensed therapy that blends evidenced-based and traditional approaches with holistic, expressive, and integrative modalities. Each client receives extensive and ongoing assessment as well as psychological testing, psychiatric evaluation and follow-up, medication management, nutritional assessment, and individual, family, and group therapies. Clients are provided a menu of treatment options that range from expressive arts therapies, yoga, acupuncture and mindfulness based therapies to 12 Steps based community groups, expert fitness coaching, outdoor adventures, and body work.

Instead of focusing on the re-shaping of behaviors, our multidisciplinary team of professionals, is committed to partnering with each client to address the deeper, more difficult issues that impact their lives. These issues range from the effects of trauma, grief and interpersonal problems to mental health diagnoses such as major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, post traumatic stress disorder, psychotic episodes, and co-occurring behavioral health concerns such as substance misuse, substance use disorders, disordered eating, gaming, self-harm and harmful social media behaviors. We approach all clients as integral partners in their care and treatment planning. Treatment goals are customized to reflect client strengths and interests and are supported by access to individual therapy, weekly family sessions, multifamily group, daily group therapies, personal time, and recreational activities - both on location and in the community.

Amend Treatment is a short-term, residential treatment program designed to provide high quality, individualized care to adults who are struggling with mental health and/or co-occurring disorders in a private and serene home-like setting. Because we believe that healing requires dignity, we are intentional in providing accommodations that are comfortable, contemporary, open, airy, and feel relaxed and welcoming. Clients are able to focus on their recovery in park-like, tree-lined surroundings that are private and exclusive . We strive for a culture of quality care, respect, and connection within a physically and emotionally safe environment that provides ample opportunity to engage in the work of healing and recovery and to find fun and relief with a swim, tennis, some basketball, lawn games, silent reflection, or chats and laughter with newly found friends. We provide both private or semi-private room, each with a dedicate bath as well as seamless indoor/outdoor patio access, so clients can enjoy the natural beauty during their course of care.

We specialize in the residential treatment of acute and chronic mental and behavioral health issues and our talented team of professionals have decades of experience in helping individuals regain their lives from the effects of depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, trauma and co-occurring substance misuse, chronic pain, family and relationship problems, or loss and grief. From the first day, our team will work with you and your loved ones to facilitate your treatment and plan to re-integrate into your home, life, profession and personal pursuits. Experience has shown mental health issues touch almost everyone at some point in time; it has also shown us that each person has the ability to amend their life's path, experience joy, and move forward in recovery. We look forward to being of service.
