Sierra Tucson Accredited
Sierra Tucson is a premier provider of comprehensive treatment for adults who have behavioral health concerns. Located in a private and tranquil facility in Tucson, Arizona, we offer specialized treatment programs for mood and anxiety disorders, addictions, chronic pain, trauma-related concerns and co-occurring eating disorders. Our Comprehensive Assessment Program (CAP) helps us to co-create an individualized treatment plan based on your unique needs. Your recovery journey at Sierra Tucson includes residential and outpatient treatment programs, with detoxification services for patients who are struggling with addictions. For patients who may be struggling with mood concerns, trauma and co-occurring disorders, our outpatient program offers the chance to receive structured treatment while transitioning back to life in the community. Participants typically stay in our partial hospitalization program (PHP) for a minimum of two weeks. We also offer an intensive outpatient program (IOP) that lasts a minimum of four weeks. Ongoing personal evaluations help determine your length of stay in each program. At Sierra Tucson, we believe that effective treatment addresses more than just a patient’s symptoms. We’ve created a holistic approach to healing that encompasses physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual wellness. We offer treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), nutritional therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and the 12-Step model of recovery. We also offer recreational and experiential treatments, such as psychodrama, shiatsu, qigong, yoga and equine therapy. We understand the value of forming relationships with peers who can closely relate to your recovery process. Sierra Tucson provides several treatment tracks specifically designed to support different groups. Our Maternal Mental Health Program serves expectant and new mothers who are experiencing symptoms of prenatal depression, perinatal mood disorders and postpartum depression. Our Red, White and Blue Program is geared toward the challenges that military members and first responder communities might experience. The Licensed Professionals Program addresses challenges of balance and burnout for professionals such as attorneys, physicians, nurses, dentists and veterinarians. Members of the LGBTQIA+ community can also find a safe and welcoming environment in support groups designed to meet their needs. Additionally, we want to support you even after you leave Sierra Tucson.
