Turnbridge opens Adolescent Residential Treatment Center

After years of careful planning and preparation, the Turnbridge Adolescent Residential Treatment Center opened its doors on August 31. This program specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of adolescent mental health conditions and will treat a small milieu of 6 boys and 6 girls, ages 14-17 on a beautiful 68-acre campus in the pastoral countryside of Woodbury, Connecticut.

THE PROGRAM

We coordinate and personalize thorough assessments, psychiatry, psychology, education, Recovery In Motion experiential programming, recreation, life-skills development, and nutrition to effectively and efficiently diagnose and treat mental health and substance use disorders in boys and girls 14 to 17 years of age. 


THE PRACTICE

Our EMPWR model of care informs individualized treatment plans that address every aspect of client life: Emotional health, Mental health, Physical health, Work ethic, and Relational health. Extensive behavioral data is used to compare client-reported progress with objective measures to ascertain a more complete picture of total client health.

THE PEOPLE

THE PLACE

The Turnbridge Adolescent Residential campus is a safe, stimulating environment in which up to six girls, six boys and their family members join with some of the nation's leading mental health luminaries to engage in comprehensive treatment, recreation, and camaraderie. 

INSURANCE COVERAGE

The Turnbridge Adolescent Residential Treatment Center accepts insurance. We are in-network with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans, and can work with most major insurance companies.
