Jaywalker Lodge names Bill Anuszewski as Chief Executive Officer

CARBONDALE, CO -- Jaywalker Lodge, a leading provider of addiction recovery services for men, is pleased to announce that effective today, Bill Anuszewski has been named to the position of Chief Executive Officer. In his new role, Bill will oversee day-to-day operations at the company, and will report directly to Jaywalker Founder Bob Ferguson.

A Jaywalker alumnus with a passion for recovery, Bill has served as a consultant and trusted advisor to Jaywalker’s leadership team since 2013. A seasoned executive with over 35 years of experience in public and private companies, Bill most recently served as partner at B2B CFO®, a leading national firm providing CFO services to small and mid-size companies.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to bring Bill’s passion for recovery and his professional expertise to our leadership team at Jaywalker,” said Ferguson. “As we all know, the recovery community at Jaywalker Lodge is only as healthy as the ethical and values-driven business culture that stands behind it.”

An active participant in the Roaring Fork Valley recovery community, Bill currently serves on boards of several behavioral health companies and addiction treatment organizations in Western Colorado. “After getting sober as a Jaywalker client seven years ago, I realized a new passion for life and for recovery,” he said. “I am grateful and excited to be in a position that allows me to be of maximum service to this special community.”

Since 2013, Bill has been a member of the board and currently serves as Chairman for Mind Springs Behavioral Health, Inc., which provides high-quality mental health and substance abuse treatment services with 13 locations throughout the Colorado Rocky Mountains. In addition, he sits on the board of directors for A Way Out, a local non-profit that provides referrals and treatment scholarships for those battling substance abuse in the Roaring Fork Valley.

From 2008 through 2013, Bill was the General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of Sport Obermeyer, where he was responsible for running the operations of the company’s ski apparel business and real estate companies.  Prior to Obermeyer, Bill was the Chief Financial Officer for the Aspen Public Schools from 2003 through 2008.

Bill will be attending the National Association of Addiction Providers (NAATP) Annual Conference coming up in Washington, D.C. May 5 – 8. If you’re attending, please don’t hesitate to stop by the Jaywalker booth and welcome Bill to his new role!
