Cirque Lodge 24th Annual Alumni Reunion

SUNDANCE, UTAH -- On September 29th, Cirque Lodge reopened its doors to its most cherished members of the family: its alumni. After exercising an abundance of caution to protect their current residents by hosting the previous three years virtually, the 24th Reunion held special significance. At Cirque Lodge, we recognize and are deeply honored by the importance of these events for our Alumni community. While the significance for the alumni themselves may seem obvious, having over 350 alumni on the property holds value beyond just their individual experiences. It's an incredible opportunity for our current residents to witness hope through the thriving faces of those who have walked the same path before them. Additionally, it's a powerful moment for every staff member to see the impact of their hard work unfold over the years, with alumni and their families finding healing and recovery.

We pack an entire weekend with celebration, education, and, in line with our experiential model, hands-on workshops to support our alumni in their ongoing journey towards successful, long-term recovery. Friday night kicked off with a banquet dinner followed by a special 12-step speaker, Mr. Gary Fisher. On Saturday, Carver Brown served as our Keynote Speaker, leading to breakout workshops covering a wide range of topics, from breathwork to psychodrama. Saturday night brought a barbecue and fireside meeting on our newly expanded grounds, featuring a 12-step pathway around the building, complete with experiential activities like our new labyrinth. Saturday morning continued with a sound bath and our final meeting, prompting us to make commitments regarding how we can carry the knowledge and growth we gained over the weekend into our lives and share it with our loved ones and communities.

The Cirque Lodge Foundation also attended the event. The Foundation provides a platform for our alumni and supporters to create opportunities for those without the socio-economic means to access care. It's our way of giving back and assisting those who are still suffering on their journey to recovery by means of treatment scholarships. Last year, the Cirque Lodge Foundation was able to provide $400,000 in scholarships to individuals who otherwise wouldn't have had access to the treatment they need and deserve. This non-profit organization is primarily funded by Cirque Lodge alumni who are passionate about carrying the message of hope and healing
