ROCKFORD—Rosecrance is pleased to announce that David Gomel, Ph.D., has assumed the role of President and CEO.

After much negotiation behind the scenes with Congress, the President finally signed the omnibus budget bill, which also contained the latest compromise COVID-19 relief package. It was signed late Sunday evening after unemployment benefits had expired for millions of Americans and just hours before the federal government would have shut down.

Our team here at NAATP is guided by gratitude, hope, and positivity as we prepare to begin a new year and reflect on our accomplishments in 2020. Today, we are proud to share with you our 2020 NAATP Highlights as it reflects our team's hard work throughout this challenging year.

As it’s final action, Congress passed a budget also containing money for specific COVID-19 relief programs. Even though it took many months to reach this point, we are appreciative of the relief these various programs provide, many of which will be accessible to NAATP members.

Congress is in the final stages of writing a year-end budget, which we expect will include another round of COVID relief assistance. While the final language could change, we anticipate several programs that could be of assistance to NAATP members.

ROCKFORD – Rosecrance Health Network, a national leader in behavioral health care based in Rockford, IL, has entered an agreement to acquire Connections Counseling, an agency with an impressive 18-year history in the Madison, Wisconsin area. The agreement is effective December 31, 2020.
