Asheville Comprehensive Treatment Center Accredited
Asheville Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) serves adults age 18 and older who are struggling with addictions to heroin, prescription painkillers, or other opioids. Located in Asheville, North Carolina, our premier facility provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), an evidence-based therapy recommended by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). While many outpatient treatment centers prescribe only one type of medication, Asheville CTC offers access to several FDA-approved medications, including methadone, buprenorphine, and Suboxone. Our highly qualified medical professionals will determine which medication is right for you based on information gathered during our thorough intake evaluation. MAT is more than just a medication-focused treatment. It also incorporates individual and group therapy provided by a counselor who is trained to help patients explore why they may have started using opioids. Asheville CTC’s counseling sessions are safe, judgment-free spaces where you can learn more about the emotional and behavioral elements of addiction and engage in meaningful discussions with others who are on a similar recovery journey. We see every person who seeks treatment at Asheville CTC as a unique individual who has their own needs and goals. We work with each patient to develop an individualized plan of care that takes advantage of their strengths and offers extra support in growth areas. Our aim is to give you a strong foundation you can build on for the rest of your life.
