Today, the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) released its new ASAM National Practice Guideline for the Use of Medications in the Treatment of Addiction Involving Opioid Use.

I am pleased to provide NAATP Members with this first in our new series: NAATP Public Policy Update (PPU). We will issue PPU's to keep our members informed and involved as to the state of important activities and developments in law and policy effecting addiction treatment services.
