Urine Trouble: The Basics of Drug Testing

Join Dr. Lewis S. Nelson, Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine and Director of the Division of Medical Toxicology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, as he explains the clinical and regulatory aspects of urine toxicology testing, including screening versus confirmatory testing, genesis of false positive and false negative drug test results, interpretation of test results in a clinical context, and approaching the patient with their test results.
