Promotional graphic for a NAATP Member-to-Member webinar titled “Low Risk Ways to Use AI Now: Micro Use Cases to Accelerate Existing Work.” Features presenter Isamu Pant and highlights practical AI use cases for operations, HR, marketing, reporting, and planning. Includes event date, July 9, 2026, time, Zoom location, and NAATP branding.

This provider only session helps members move from general AI interest to specific, low risk ways to speed up the work they are already doing. Building on the Session 1 planning tool, attendees will identify a handful of “micro” use cases where simple AI tools (including tools they already have, like Copilot or other LLMs) can safely support tasks such as:

  • Drafting policy and procedure documents
  • Creating HR materials or internal communications
  • Generating marketing copy within existing brand and compliance guidelines
  • Speeding up basic analytics, reporting, or program/strategy planning

Using a structured discussion tool, members will look at these micro use cases through the three pillars (governance, groundwork, workforce) and choose one opportunity to formalize and support now, with clear guardrails. There will be no specific product recommendations; the emphasis is on making better use of existing tools and, if helpful, I’ll share a simple set of questions leaders can use when evaluating any future vendors. This session is designed to meet the top needs members have expressed: understanding practical use cases for AI in everyday work, and putting basic guardrails around them so they are safe, compliant, and sustainable.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Name 1–2 specific “micro” use cases in their organization where AI could be used in a low risk, supportive way to accelerate existing work (e.g., policy drafts, HR materials, marketing copy, basic analytics, internal planning support).
  • Consider those micro use cases against governance, operational, and workforce considerations using a simple discussion tool, and define basic guardrails for safe use.
  • Decide on one micro use case they will take back to their teams to (a) formalize with clear expectations and guidance using current tools, or (b) prepare for with further groundwork.

Isamu Pant is the founder of Behavioral Health Fix and author of The Behavioral Health Fix: A Leader’s Guide to Better Care, Happier Staff, and Smoother Operations. He works directly with behavioral health and IDD executives to fix long standing operational problems and grow without burning out staff or putting care at risk, often in focused 30 day sprints. Before launching Behavioral Health Fix, Isamu built analytics and operating systems inside a 500 person community behavioral health center and later helped Amazon Web Services stand up and scale a new cybersecurity and early AI services organization. He now brings that combination back to the field to help leaders use AI in ways that support care, workforce sustainability, and ethics, rather than chasing tools. Recent appearances include the opening keynote at the Behavioral Health AI Summit and the Behavioral Health Business Perspectives podcast on the field’s first AI related labor action.
