Rates of anxiety among adolescents have risen significantly in recent years, impacting functioning at home, in school, and in social settings. Join Dr. Loftus as she explores how anxiety presents in youth, the developmental considerations that shape symptom expression, and the practical strategies clinicians can use to support this population. The training will review evidence-based approaches to assessment, intervention, and treatment planning, with a focus on building resilience and reducing risk.

After attending this webinar, participants will be able to:

- Describe the developmental trajectory of anxiety disorders in youth, distinguishing between normative anxiety and clinically significant presentations

- Apply tools and strategies for detecting and diagnosing pediatric anxiety, including screening approaches and indicators of risk

- Evaluate evidence-based treatment options and levels of care for adolescents and young adults experiencing anxiety, and identify appropriate recommendations for families and caregivers
