This one-of-a-kind report analyzes salary data across 61 addiction industry positions, representing a workforce of 11,089 employees. This year, we made deliberate improvements to better serve our members' needs. Notably, the data collection window was moved to the beginning of the year, allowing for a mid-year release that better aligns with budgeting and planning cycles for treatment organizations.

Survey data is presented by geographic region, organizational revenue size, and tax status, providing relevant benchmarks for strategic workforce decisions. As in previous years, the data for the 2025 Salary Survey was collected and analyzed by Employer’s Council, ensuring accuracy and reliability. You can preview the report here.

Since its inception in 1986, the Salary Survey has remained one of NAATP’s most highly valued member resources. Organizations have relied on it to help attract and retain top talent, provide high-quality care, and navigate workforce challenges in an evolving treatment landscape.

The 2025 Salary Survey is available as a digital publication and includes access to a downloadable PDF. Organizations that participated in the survey receive the report complimentary. For non-participating NAATP members, the survey can be purchased for $500, and for non-members, the price is $1,500.
