Futures Recovery Healthcare Accredited
Housed within a beautiful tropical campus with state of the art amenities, The Futures clinical program offers an integrated, multidisciplinary treatment approach that's modified to fit the unique needs of each client. The treatment program helps individuals address issues at the core emotional level that drive addictive behavior (and any co-occurring disorders). Applying a focused treatment approach to patient specific needs can contribute to better patient outcomes. Futures offers specialized treatment tracks to address underlying pain, eating disorders, and trauma.
The program also empowers clients to find solutions at the practical level; developing coping skills and creating a new life plan that guards against relapsing into old patterns. One of the evidence-based components of the Futures treatment program is Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT); which helps clients incorporate the practice of mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness skills.
The Futures' program includes individual treatment sessions with a dedicated primary therapist and a dedicated case manager, along with various group therapy sessions. Counseling and group sessions address the disease of addiction, triggers and relapse prevention, coping skills, assertive communication, relationships, healthy boundaries and family therapy. The program is not 12-step based, but it is 12-step friendly. Participants are encouraged to attend sober support meetings such as AA/NA, Smart Recovery and Celebrate Recovery to assist in building a foundation for sobriety. Futures helps individuals establish a foothold in recovery and a plan to sustain lasting health and wellbeing. Futures works with patients to manage their healthcare following initial treatment by establishing a coordinated continuum of care. Connecting patients with specialized care providers, support groups, counselors, alumni, and other resources creates a bridge to independent living and lasting recovery. Futures embraces the complexity of addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders to empower recovery and improve outcomes through evidence-based practice, coordinated care, and mission-driven culture.
Futures supports positive patient outcomes by empowering experienced, licensed clinicians to use evidence-based practices and clinical innovations to treat addiction across the continuum of care.
