AMFM Mental Health and Addiction Accredited
AMFM offers 45 or 90-day programs specifically designed for men with co-occurring disorders. Substance use disorders and mood and anxiety disorders that develop independently of intoxication, dependence and withdrawal are among the most prevalent psychiatric disorders in the United States. We help individuals build a foundation that will ensure lifestyle changes to dramatically reduce the chance of relapse and to stabilize their mental health illness.
As a leading dual-diagnoses treatment center for men, we offer different levels of care to suit a variety of needs. Our primary treatment program is highly recommend for individuals who need more intensive care, therapy, accountability and support. This portion of our program is highly structured around a multidisciplinary treatment schedule. Our goal is to neutralize the living environment while allowing individuals to work through core issues including trauma and/or mental illness, so that the chance of relapse is dramatically reduced when the individual steps down to the next level of care. Our experience has shown us that helping individuals accept recovery into their lives and to engage the family system is key so that individuals are supported in their recovery long after they leave AMFM.
The staff at AMFM realizes through their clinical experiences that relapse prevention requires a unique, multi-disciplinary approach of treating the biological, psychological and sociological aspects of each person individually to optimize successful outcomes. We also know that it will often be a lifelong commitment to maintain stability with these medical conditions. Our clinicians, therefore, were chosen not only for their expertise in dual- diagnosis treatment but because they they can continue to treat individuals long after the completion of our program during aftercare.
“We are a group of healthcare professionals with established experience and commitment to providing the best treatment for those who suffer from substance abuse and co-occurring mental illness by using a biological, psychological and social model for the foundation of our comprehensive treatment curriculum.
A Mission for Michael is designed to help those people who suffer from dependency on alcohol and/or other drugs and a co-occurring mental illness find sobriety and recovery.
