When and where will NAATP National be in 2026?

This year’s conference will occur in person on May 4-6, 2026, in Fernandina Beach, Florida, at the Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa.

 

What is NAATP National and who should attend?

NAATP National is designed as the leading educational and networking event within the addiction treatment field targeted at the leadership.

Do I have to be a member of NAATP to attend?

No. NAATP National is open to NAATP members and non-members. NAATP members, however, do receive a significant discount on their registration. 


 

Hotel & Travel

Do we have a discounted hotel room block? 

Yes, the room block is at the Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa, where the conference is being held. After registering, you will receive the link in your confrimation email.

Where is the closest airport to Amelia Island?

Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa is located near the following airport:

  • About 29 miles (about 45 minutes) from Jacksonville International Airport (JAX)

There is also a small municipal airport (Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport (FHB) about 4 miles away. 

 

Are ride shares available on Amelia island? 

Please plan ahead when departing Amelia Island. Uber and Lift are both options for travel on the Island based on driver availability but can be somewhat limited on the small island, so we encourage exhibitors and attendees to also look at using local transportation companies.

Can I submit an presentation to be considered for NAATP National 2026?

The call for presentations for NAATP National 2026 is now closed, but we accept submissions all year-round for our webinar series.

Can I submit an award nomination to be considered for our Addiction Treatment Leadership Awards?

The call for award nominations for 2026 is now open. This is your opportunity to nominate exceptional leaders who are driving positive change in the addiction treatment and recovery field. The deadline for submission is January 30th. You are required to log in or create an account to submit a nomination.

Here are the awards that we are expecting nominations for:

  • Dr. Jasper Chen See Volunteer Leadership Award: Recognizes individuals who have provided exceptional volunteer leadership in the area of addiction treatment through board membership and philanthropy.
     
  • Dr. James West Quality Improvement Award: Recognizes new, innovative, and successful addiction treatment advancements, both clinical and operational, that improve the quality and reach of addiction treatment.
     
  • Michael Ford Journalism Award: Recognizes the journalistic efforts, both electronic and print, that promote the value of and need for addiction treatment.
     
  • Nelson Bradley Career Achievement Award: Recognizes the life-long achievements of individuals who have made significant contributions to modern addiction treatment.
     
  • Dr. Peter Hayden Diversity, Inclusivity, and Racial Equity Award: Recognizes champions of diversity, equity, and inclusivity in the addiction treatment and recovery field.

 

 


 

Registration

When will registration open for NAATP National 2026?

Registration will open in November 2026.

 

What is your cancellation policy?

Attendee and Luncheon cancellations made before March 13, 2026 will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made after will not be refunded. 

Exhibitor/Sponsor cancellation received before March 13, 2026, a refund less 50% of the contracted amount will be issued. Cancellation on March 13, 2026, and hereafter, shall result in forfeiture of the entire fee.

 

Will there be a virtual component?

No, There is not a virtual component of the event.

 

Do you provide discounts for non-profits or startups?

No, We only provide discounts if the organization is a NAATP member.


 

At the Conference

Will there be CE opportunities offered?

Continuing Education Credits will be provided through NAADAC (#435) and CADTP (#265). Approximately 10.5 credit hours will be offered. NAATP is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

Please check with NBCC directly about self-reporting hours.

 

What meals are provided?
  • Monday: Opening Night Banquet
  • Tuesday & Wednesday: Breakfast & Mid-morning Coffee Breaks
  • Exhibit Hall Luncheon 

 

Do you distribute an Attendee List?

It is the policy of The National Association to shield its members from unwanted marketing and sales efforts. For this reason, NAATP assures its members and conference attendees that their membership information, Addiction Industry Directory (The AID) listing and conference attendance information will not be shared in the form of list distribution.

Each attendee can decide if they want to share their personal information through the conference app. They control how much information they provide. Attendees can share organization details, contact details, and social profiles.

 

Is there a conference app?

Yes, two weeks prior to the conference we will send you login details to access the conference app that will have the agenda, speaker info, exhibit hall map, opt-ed in attendee information, and more. 

 

What should I wear?

We recommend you wear business attire to the Opening Night Awards Banquet and business casual attire to the rest of the conference.
