NAATP Member Jessica Swan Receives NAADAC’s Prestigious Bill Callahan Leadership Award

Richmond, VA – September 2025 – Recovery Consulting is proud to announce that its Executive Director, Jessica Swan, has been awarded the prestigious Bill Callahan Leadership Award by NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals.

The Bill Callahan Leadership Award is one of NAADAC’s highest honors. It recognizes addiction professionals who have:

  1. At least fifteen years of service in the field
  2. Demonstrated sustained leadership and advocacy for prevention, treatment, and recovery
  3. Encouraged and mentored other counselors and allies
  4. Maintained active membership in NAADAC
  5. Exemplified integrity through compliance with NAADAC’s Code of Ethics

Jessica’s career spans more than two decades of advancing family-centered approaches to addiction treatment and recovery. She is the founder of the FACE Recovery™ model, which integrates trauma-informed, relational, and systemic approaches, and has been instrumental in expanding global access to training and research for clinicians. Her leadership also extends through her role as President of the Virginia Association of Addiction Professionals (VAAP) and through collaborations with national and international organizations.

“I am deeply honored to receive the Bill Callahan Leadership Award,” Jessica said. “This recognition reflects not only my own journey, but the collective vision of counselors, families, and allies working every day to make recovery accessible, equitable, and transformative.”
