Gloo personal growth platform powers new research partnership with Behavioral Health Learning Network

BOULDER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Gloo, LLC, a trusted technology platform provider for organizations that champion personal growth, announced today that it is partnering with the Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Learning Network (PBHLN) to power a virtual center of excellence aimed at improving patient outcomes among the nation’s mental health treatment and addiction recovery providers.

HMP Global, a leading international healthcare events and education company, launched the Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Learning Network (www.psychbehavioral.com) last year as a comprehensive digital platform that brings into one place the most up-to-date information and education on psychiatry, mental health and addiction. The network features breaking news, expert interviews, opportunities for networking and idea exchange with others in the field.

The new Center for the Advancement of Recovery Excellence (CARE) will reside on the PBHLN site, powered by Gloo’s personal growth platform, and provide the entire behavioral health and addiction recovery sector with scientific research, information and resources vital to high-performing organizations.

Providers that visit the site will also have access to Gloo’s advanced assessment, data visualization and benchmarking capabilities, allowing them to more successfully develop, provide and measure their services and resulting outcomes. CARE also incorporates a critical feedback loop to enable practice-based and outcomes data collection, highly valued by researchers and sought by providers.

“Gloo’s personal growth technology infrastructure provides a much-needed emphasis on innovation in the behavioral health and recovery field,” said PBHLN Director Doug Edwards. “The result is that our partnership will both accelerate and enhance the science-to-service timeline, which historically is the single biggest factor in establishing widespread adoption of the most effective evidence-based treatment practices.”

Central to Gloo’s role in powering CARE is the company’s Data Trust Infrastructure, a combination of operating standards and capabilities that ensures a world-class level of personal information privacy and security across its technology, processes and board-level governance.

CARE will be supported by an advisory board made up of noted behavioral sciences and addiction researchers and experts from leading universities, companies and organizations. A formal announcement will be made within the next few weeks.

“We’re honored that our technologies can power the important work that these organizations are doing,” said Gloo founder and CEO Scott Beck. “They’re working hard to close the gap that exists between scientific data and the effective implementation of data-driven practices and methodologies.”

“There is nothing more important to us than enabling providers to use the full power of compliant data and technologies to innovate, so they can keep changing lives for the better,” Beck said.
