This workshop will teach clinicians

  • Identify physiological symptoms of trauma and addiction, understand fight, flight and freeze physiology
  • Somatic awareness
  • Embodiment skills
  • How to regulate client nervous system
  • How to teach clients to move toward healing rather than "surviving"

This workshop will be didactic, lecture and experiential. Principles of the trauma resolution model, Somatic Experiencing (SE) developed by Dr. Peter Levine will be reviewed including: titration, pendulation and orienting.
