Treatment Services Team Lead

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Treatment Services Team Lead serves in a Lead/Supervisory capacity in a Community Corrections behavioral health Program within Criminal Justice Services for individuals with significant mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders. This role is part of our trauma-informed residential behavioral health treatment programs.

This position may supervise bachelor’s level case managers, certified addiction technicians and/or certified addictions specialists, or master’s level mental health practitioners. This position performs clinical supervision, task supervision, individual and group therapy, case management, life skills training, financial skills, crisis intervention, and auditing.

Other Information/Requirements: 


Clinical assessment, evaluation, and treatment planning for assigned caseload
Facilitation/teaching of treatment groups to clients
Crisis intervention
Documenting client contact and development and Implementation of transition/continuing care
Facilitating program staff meetings
Supervising staff
Auditing of clinical documentation

The Treatment Services Team Lead position is located in Fort Collins, Colorado, with close access to the Rocky Mountains, Poudre River, and miles of trails throughout the city. The ideal candidate:

Ability to effectively navigate the mental health, substance abuse, and criminal justice systems
Understanding of substance use disorders and significant mental illness
Understanding of the methods, practices, and interventions associated with criminogenic risks and needs, mental illness, and substance use disorders
Ability to work with both male and female offender populations
Understanding of trauma-informed intervention and care
Knowledge and skills in clinical supervision of Bachelor and Master level staff

Required Qualifications

Two (2) years' experience working with a co-occurring mental health substance abuse population and one (1) year experience in corrections required.
Bachelor's Degree required.
Certified Addictions Specialist, Licensed Addiction Specialist or Licensed Mental Health Professional with Substance Use Disorder treatment experience required.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Driver's License required.
Possession of or ability to obtain First Aid, AED, and CPR certifications within 6 months of hire required
