Substance Use Disorder Counselor (CADC)

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility:

We are immediately looking to hire a full-time SUD Counselor to work at our East Portland Outpatient Office, to provide counseling, therapeutic, crisis intervention, and supportive services to individuals with substance use disorder.

We are looking for compassionate individuals with an OR CADC I to deliver counseling services by:

    Creating a safe, therapeutic environment for their patients and their families, that facilitates exploration of the chemical dependency issues they face.
    Counseling patients in individual and group sessions which can include IOP, OP-Level 1 and DUII groups as assigned, including telehealth groups.
    Maintaining records for health insurance and patient tracking, according to OARS, ASAM, CARF, and Serenity Lane’s policies and procedures.
    Ensuring each patient has an individualized service plan prior to start of services and update according to OAR, CARF, and company policy.
    Collaborating with other professional staff on treatment plans for patients and provide outside referrals as needed.
    Complying with all in-house and third-party reporting responsibilities and protocols

Schedule: Monday through Friday 1pm to 9:30pm

Qualifications:

    Current Oregon CADC I certification required
    CADCII Certification preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    Familiarity with medical records software required
    Previous MAT counseling experience desired.
    Familiarity with Excel and Outlook a plus.
