Director, StepUP Program, Augsburg University

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for program development, administration, strategic planning and initiatives for the Augsburg University StepUP® Program, a collegiate recovery program (CRP), which supports students in recovery from alcohol and other drug addictions to stay in recovery and complete their college degree. Recognizing the prevalence of co-occurring disorders, develop appropriate programming and referral resources. Responsible for hiring, training and supervising staff, and managing operational and capital resources. Coordinate recruitment and admissions with Enrollment Management. With Department of Residence Life, facilitate a supportive residential community of students in recovery. Assist Institutional Advancement with donor outreach.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Master's degree required; Counseling or related field preferred.
Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), in the state of Minnesota, required.
Minimum five (5) years' experience in management, clinical supervision, and employee supervision required.
Three-five (3-5) experience working with individuals in recovery required; experience working with individuals in recovery, ages 18-26 preferred.
