Chief/Director of Admissions & Marketing

Job Description

This role is a rare chance to lead the admissions and marketing departments for one of the premier men’s treatment centers in the addiction industry. You will serve as a trusted member of our Executive Team and be responsible for our end-to-end outreach and admission efforts. As the Chief/Director of Admissions and Marketing, you will manage a team of admissions, marketing, and alumni coordinators. In this role you will also serve as the Chief Marketing Officer of the organization and will provide overall brand leadership and shape the organization’s public profile though building awareness and contribute to a culture of high performance as a “Center of Excellence”.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Lead the admissions, marketing and alumni services departments in ways that promote coordination and teamwork. Guide and mentor team members in assessing difficult situations, resolving customer service problems, adjusting approaches and strategies, and monitoring outcomes.
• Oversee all aspects of admissions including managing individual coordinators, inquiry/lead management, website optimization, brand awareness, CRM system and departmental strategic planning.
• Cultivate and develop relationships with potential and ongoing referral partners to grow market share, service volume and brand recognition.
• Continuously provides clinical updates and appropriate information to referral sources.
• Defines strategy for direct sales & referral development, which includes identifying new prospects with specific target markets.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators and metric goals to reach weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
• Develop, plan and execute inbound and outbound site visits.
• Lead internet and direct marketing strategies to improve Jaywalker’s position in the market, enhance marketing efforts, engage clients and referral sources, and promote treatment services.
• Responsible for budget forecasting, managing expenditures and planning for short and long-term sales needs. Ensure expenditures align with current objectives and implements methods to monitor the budget and resolve variances.
• Works collaboratively with discharge planning and aftercare/alumni coordinator.

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience working in a managerial/business development role in the addiction/substance use treatment industry.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities necessary to organize, plan and direct activities and operations.
• High level communication and persuasion skills necessary to forge partnerships, implement change and explain and resolve frequently complex issues. Ability to establish strong relationships and credibility with referents, prospects, and management team.
• Established relationships to be able to introduce clients and providers to Jaywalker and a proven track record of meeting targets.
