Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center, located in Lemont, Illinois, is a premier provider of treatment for eating disorders, addictions, and other co-occurring conditions. Our programs are designed to be safe and supportive places for girls ages 12-17 and women age 18 and older to receive holistic care for the mind, body, and spirit. We provide age-appropriate programming throughout our levels of care, which include detoxification services and residential care for girls and women. We also offer a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adult women. Additionally, we created The Grace Program to support girls and women who want to reconnect or go deeper with their faith. The program can include chaplain visits, Christian church services, and participation in Celebrate Recovery — a Christ-centered 12-Step program. Our trauma-informed approach to therapy can provide female patients with a judgment-free space to consider the root causes of their symptoms. We use modalities such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and the 12-Step model during treatment. During individual therapy sessions, you can reflect on your progress, ask questions, and receive guidance. In process groups and psychoeducational therapy, you may have the opportunity to engage with peers as you learn more about topics like body image, coping skills, and conflict resolution. Our popular experiential group interventions include art, dance, music, and art therapy, as well as off-campus outings. Timberline Knolls is pleased to offer TK Academy, an on-site educational program staffed by certified teachers. Our trained teachers can collaborate with parents and school district representatives as well as work with students on emotional concerns, such as school anxiety, disorganization, and perfectionism. We also offer a robust alumnae program that includes a private Facebook group, monthly evening events, annual retreats, and one year of free aftercare support.
