White Deer Run of York is a leading provider of treatment for women age 18 and older who are struggling with addictions and symptoms of co-occurring mental health concerns. Located in York, Pennsylvania, our treatment center offers detoxification services and a residential rehabilitation program. Our compassionate and capable staff includes nurses, psychiatrists, physicians, counselors, and case managers who will work as a team to create an individualized treatment plan that can address your unique recovery goals. For some clients, the recovery journey begins with the withdrawal process. We offer a safe and supportive medically monitored detox program that can help you rid your body of substances such as alcohol, cocaine, opioids, and benzodiazepines. Many people remain in detox for about five days, but our nurses can determine your appropriate length of stay based on ongoing, comprehensive evaluations. While in detox, you may participate in crisis counseling, psychoeducation groups, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and 12-Step meetings. Our group therapy sessions can include productive discussions with clinicians and peers who can relate to the circumstances you may be facing. Topics of discussion might include relapse prevention, self-esteem, coping skills, and continuing care. We also offer residential care for women that draws on treatment modalities such as CBT, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational enhancement therapy (MET). We understand that co-occurring mental health conditions can complicate the recovery process, so we also provide programs to support women who have concerns such as bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, depression, and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Through individual, group, and family therapies, you can practice healthy coping skills such as mindfulness and positive communication. When you are ready to continue your recovery journey outside our treatment center, our staff can guide you to the services and supports you may need to continue your path to lasting health and well-being.
