Glenwood Behavioral Health Hospital, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, provides personalized, supportive treatment for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with mental health concerns and co-occurring addictions. Our inpatient program is divided into two units. One treats patients who have symptoms of mental health concerns, including adjustment disorder, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and suicidal ideation. The other is a dual diagnosis unit that incorporates treatment for addictions to substances such as alcohol, opioids, and prescription drugs. At Glenwood Behavioral Health Hospital, we create safe, judgment-free spaces where our premier interdisciplinary treatment teams can address the holistic needs of our patients. Those teams may include psychiatrists, nurse practitioners (NPs), behavioral health technicians, activity therapists, and dietitians. Our dedicated professionals collaborate to create comprehensive treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations of each patient’s unique recovery goals. Our levels of care include an inpatient program, partial hospitalization program (PHP), and intensive outpatient program (IOP). Your treatment plan may consist of basic medical services, pharmacotherapy, individual therapy, psychoeducation groups, process groups, and family therapy. In our PHP and IOP, we offer a combination of addiction and mental health treatment modalities, such as 12-Step programming, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing. If you are taking medication during your stay at Glenwood, we are happy to provide medication management services. Our goal is for each patient to continue their recovery journey even after they leave Glenwood. Your treatment team begins planning for your discharge early in your stay, monitoring and adjusting the plan based on your progress. Continuing care may include referrals to traditional outpatient services, information about additional support groups, and relapse prevention resources.
