We are a medication-assisted treatment (MAT) facility that incorporates prescription medication and therapy. Adults who participate in MAT at our center may receive a prescription for methadone or buprenorphine. Medication can help ease withdrawal symptoms and cravings. Still, it cannot provide the lasting change necessary for long-term success. That is why we offer both individual and group therapy as part of our MAT program. In individual therapy, patients work one-on-one with a qualified staff member to explore the underlying causes of addiction. They can also develop the skills and strategies that will enable them to resist relapse in the future. Group therapy provides an opportunity for patients to share their experiences with others who are also working toward recovery. By incorporating both medication and therapy, MAT provides our patients with the best possible chance of success.
