Salt Lake City Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is a premier provider of outpatient treatment for adults age 18 and older who are suffering from opioid addictions. Located in Salt Lake City, Utah, our facility offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which a comprehensive approach to opioid addiction treatment that combines the use of prescription medication and talk therapy. At Salt Lake City CTC, patients can receive prescriptions for buprenorphine, methadone, and Suboxone. These medications have been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use in opioid addiction treatment programs and have proved to be successful in helping to alleviate symptoms of withdrawal and prevent ongoing cravings. Before beginning treatment at our facility, patients participate in a thorough assessment. This assessment helps our team gather information about their personal backgrounds, including information regarding their health, current and past drug use, and any previous treatment they may have received. The results of these assessments help our team determine which medication may be most appropriate for each person. In addition to prescribing and monitoring the effects of medication, our team offers individual and group counseling services. By participating in counseling, patients have a unique opportunity to gain ongoing support, develop a sense of community with others who may be facing similar challenges with addictions, and develop and practice coping skills that can help in preventing future relapse.
