Trustpoint Hospital Accredited
TrustPoint Hospital is the premier treatment center for behavioral healthcare in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. TrustPoint employs a wide variety of specially trained staff members, including psychiatrists, physiatrists, nurses, therapists, primary care doctors, and social workers. We provide inpatient treatment through several separate units, as well as a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). The adolescent behavioral healthcare unit serves young people ages 10-17 who are struggling with symptoms of mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). The usual length of stay is five to seven days, but your stay will typically depend on your unique needs. TrustPoint’s adult behavioral health unit treats patients age 18 and older who may be experiencing symptoms of thought disorders such as psychosis, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and delusional disorder, along with co-occurring addictions. Adults who are dealing with mental health concerns can move toward better health in our seven-to-eight-day adult affective disorders program. Additionally, individuals who are suffering from certain medical concerns and co-occurring mental health conditions may seek care from our medical psychiatry treatment program. We also provide age-appropriate treatment for senior adults age 65 and older who are struggling with mood disturbances, cognitive disorders, psychosis, and other co-occurring mental health concerns. The staff members in our senior psychiatry unit specialize in age-related challenges such as grief and loss, adjustment difficulties, Alzheimer’s disease, and dementia. Additionally, adults have access to our physical rehabilitation center as well as our co-occurring addictions unit, where they may receive detoxification services, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and 12-Step support. Patients in all units are invited to attend individual, group, and family therapy sessions as well as experiential therapies such as role-playing, outside physical activities, music therapy, and aromatherapy. Our goal is to create an individualized treatment plan based on your unique needs, so that you can find lasting healing and live a more fulfilling life.
