Foundations Atlanta at Midtown Accredited

Since its launch in 2014, Foundations Atlanta at Midtown has been offering a comprehensive integrated treatment in an outpatient setting. A staggeringly high percentage of those dealing with addiction issues are also struggling with a co-occurring mental health issues like depression, trauma or bipolar disorder. Research and practice have shown that people have the best chance of long-term recovery if both issues are treated concurrently.
To provide flexibility for those in need of treatment, Foundations Atlanta at Midtown offers two Intensive Outpatient Programs daytime and evening to best accommodate patients schedules. The staff partners with patients to provide a holistic program that addresses a variety of needs and issues, using a treatment philosophy based on Motivational Interviewing and a stages-of-change approach. Individual and group therapy as well as educational sessions addressing everything from life skills to stress management, relapse prevention and peer support are used. Our center boasts a diverse patient population and is LGBT-friendly.
Everyone s road to treatment is different. Some arrive at our outpatient center after residential treatment as a way to continue refining recovery skills while integrating back into everyday life. Others are hoping to address issues before a residential program is needed. Still others return when new circumstances or old triggers threaten ongoing sobriety. At Foundations Atlanta, our goal is to meet patients where they are. We have programming for patients at every stage of recovery.
We believe that treatment for co-occurring disorders is about focusing on the entire person, not just their medical needs.
